This is the main dinning room on the ship, called the Compass Rose. They serve breakfast and dinner. The dinners are five course meals, if you want them all... starter (European for appetizer,) soup, pasta, entree, and desert. They also serve the "amuse-buche." Amuse-bouches are different from appetizers in that they are not ordered from a menu by patrons but are served free and according to the chef's selection alone. These, often accompanied by a complementary wine, are served both to prepare the guest for the meal and to offer a glimpse of the chef's style. When you arrive at the dinning room you have the option of joining another couple or group, which we did most of the time in order to meet and talk with people from all over the world.
